A BILL to amend article one, chapter twenty of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended,
by adding thereto a new section, designated section seven-a,
relating to natural resources; organization and
administration; and authorizing the director to contract
with third parties for construction of lodge facilities at
Chief Logan state park and Beach Fork state park.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article one, chapter twenty of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section
seven-a, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION.
§20-1-7a. Authority to enter into contracts with third parties
to construct lodge facilities.
In addition to all other powers and authority vested in
the director, he or she is hereby authorized and empowered to
enter into contracts with third parties for the construction of
lodge facilities at Chief Logan State Park and Beach Fork State
Park.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Director
of Natural Resources to enter into contracts with third parties
for construction of lodge facilities at Chief Logan State Park
and Beach Fork State Park.
§20-1-7a is new; therefore, strike-throughs and underscoring
